Triple Jazz Plectrum - handmade modern guitar pick consists of three layers high quality plastic. Two external acrylic kirinite and one internal white peek. There are 3 color variants ( pink, blue, root beer) to choose from. Plectrum provides very good grip thanks to the special sticker with my logo. A very comfortable, durable and good sounding gift for a guitarist.
Shape: Jazz
Dimensions: Length: 33mm, Width: 27mm, Thickness: 8mm or 6mm
Handcrafted (sawn, carved, shaped and polished) using only workshop power tools.
The plectrum is non-standard thickness for a reason. Namely, a large thickness minimizes movement, increases precision, strength and speed. Therefore playing the guitar requires less effort, which is a relief for the player. As a result, the player will have fewer muscle cramps and tensions, and more comfortable playing.
The combination of Kirinite with Peek combines aesthetics with high performance, creating a plectrum for both the eye and the discerning guitarist.
Features:
1. Strength and durability:
- PEEK (core):
- Abrasion resistance: Extreme - the PEEK core has virtually no wear even with intense playing.
- Stiffness: High - minimizes flexing, providing precise contact with the strings.
- Kirinite (outer layers):
- Scratch resistance: Moderate - Kirinite can wear out on the edges, but the PEEK core protects against cracks.
- Combined effect: The plectrum is more durable than pure Kirinite, but less wear-resistant than PEEK alone.
2. Sound Characteristics:
- Attack: Sharp and fast (PEEK dominates), but with a slight smoothing of the highs thanks to Kirinite.
- Tone:
- Highs: Controlled, with a slight "grind" - Kirinite slightly dampens the metallic "ping" of PEEK.
- Mids: Clear, with a natural reverb - ideal for solos and riffs.
- Lows: Balanced - PEEK prevents the bass from "smearing".
- Example use:
- Technical metal, progressive rock - precision of PEEK + musicality of Kirinite.
- Playing solo guitar with overdrive - Kirinite reduces the sharpness of high frequencies.
3. Ergonomics and comfort:
- Kirinite: Smooth, slightly slippery surface, but sticks to hands with slightly sweaty hands.
- PEEK: The stiffness of the core requires more force to strike - better for advanced guitarists.
- Weight: Kirinite is lighter than PEEK, but the core maintains acoustic mass - the plectrum does not "run away" from the hand.
4. Aesthetics:
- Kirinite: thanks to its unique patterns, the plectrum becomes a "shining work of art"
Who is it for?
- Stage guitarists - the plectrum attracts attention with its Kirinite pattern, and the PEEK core provides professional performance.
- Technical players - the rigidity of PEEK supports fast, precise playing.
If you haven't found in my offer the plectrum you are looking for and you need a guitar pick of an unusual shape, size and thickness, don't hesitate to ask. I am open to custom orders :)
