The plectrum is non-standard thickness for a reason. Namely, a large thickness minimizes movement, increases precision, strength and speed. Therefore playing the guitar requires less effort, which is a relief for the player. As a result, the player will have fewer muscle cramps and tensions, and more comfortable playing.

ULTEM™ is primarily characterized by very high mechanical strength and impact resistance, with a high strength to weight ratio.

ULTEM (Polyetherimide, PEI)

Strength properties:
- Hardness: medium (between nylon and peek)
- Abrasion resistance: good,
- Elasticity: moderate, slightly elastic

Sound characteristics:
- Attack: balanced - clear but not exaggerated in high tones
- Timbre: neutral, with a slight boost of mid-tones - universal
