The plectrum is non-standard thickness for a reason. Namely, a large thickness minimizes movement, increases precision, strength and speed. Therefore playing the guitar requires less effort, which is a relief for the player. As a result, the player will have fewer muscle cramps and tensions, and more comfortable playing.

Micarta is a laminate made of composites made of flax, canvas, paper, glass fiber, carbon fiber or other fabric in thermosetting plastic. It is characterized by high mechanical strength, resistance to water, changes in humidity and temperature, most solvents and acids.
